Good day everyone In Christ. (I am a Filipino.) After all, we are brothers and sisters here, so I'll share this thing to you.
My father is named Nardo. I love him. But I don't like just the way he does some things. He smokes (after countless promises that he would not smoke anymore), he curses, he talks about people about the bad things those people do and criticizes them, he easily gives up. ETC.
His former religion was Iglesia ni Kristo or, in english, Church of Christ (but his belief is still on that religion, that it is the true church. (Now he thinks he is unaccepted there because he is married to my mother who is a Catholic)) yet they don't believe on the HOly Trinity and that Jesus is God. I explained it to him, and thank God, I think, he caught on it a little. I plan to talk to him more about it.
Recently, my brother read in his cellphone that father texted to a woman named Jennifer. He texted her sweet messages. etc. This Jennifer is from Davao---Mindanao... (We are living in Bohol---Visayas region). And we can't help but add suspicion that they had an affair because recently, he also went to Davao to meet his brothers there.
Now that he's home, his nephew texted him that his gift to my father is a guitar and that it is in Davao. My father told us that he should go there to get the guitar.
we told him, "Can't you just let him send the guitar here?"
But he insists. He plans to go to Davao.
Now what should we do?
I don't want to be suspicious about my father but everything leads to such.
Please help me. Help us. I don't want anything to ruin our family.
Please pray with me my brothers and sisters.
Father, Almighty. I love YOu. You are my strength. I believe in You. Please help my father see that in everything he does, he should take full responsibility, especially that he is a married person. Father, I hope my suspicions are not true and that everything is ok. Please guide my father in everything. Show him Your ways, Lord. Help him understand things. Help him to trust in YOu with all of his heart---to lean not on his own understanding.
Father, I also pray for that woman, whoever she is, that she may understand things also. Show her Your ways. Lead her closer to You, my Lord.
Lastly Lord, please keep our family whole. Guide us. Help us to understand things out-of-control. I love my family so much. Lord, help my mother and father understand their salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. These I ask through Jesus Christ, Your Son, my Lord and Savior. Amen.

By asking others to come into agreement with you is wisdom; but don't ask for their opinion please-----Love your father and continue to pray for Him; ask God to send someone; not you as you are too close---GB : )
