Walter GraceI love Jesus with the understanding and pure awe that anyone so holy, innocent and powerful could love someone as unworthy as me.

I'm a Christian & I proudly share my faith
I love the Father, Son and Holy spirit and whatever glorifies them to the utmost. This mean writing songs, blogs and posts to raise awareness of the need for a savior and the benefits of doing His will. Among friends and family, I'm know as the "Mr. Fixit" guy because there isn't much I can't handle. However, this is also a gift from and credit to Jesus Christ.
Arguing is good as long as it's productive and to that end, I prefer to say my peace and let others make up their mind, but will vigorously defend God's word. Respect is the utmost. I'm a blue collar scholar when it comes to the Bible, but find the message a source of continual renewal and encouragement.
How you came to know Jesus Christ
I've known Jesus since I was nine years old, but have had to mature considerably over this 30 plus years. It was talking to a Sunday school teacher that made me realize the importance of salvation and the need for a Savior in my fallen state. I'm much older now, but still realize the need for Christ as the center of my life.
Eyewitnesses To The 2nd Coming
Q. Please could you spare a moment to tell me how you interpret Christ’s statement in Matthew 16:28? He says there were “those present who would not taste death until they saw the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.” Some say it is evidence of Christ’s humanity – since He said that He didn’t know the time of His return. Others have said He was referring to the com ing of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. What is your interpretation?
A. Six days after Jesus said this, He took Peter, James and John to the top of a nearby mountain and was transfigured before them. Moses and Elijah were there and the voice of God spoke to them all (Matt. 17:1-8).
In 2 Peter 1:16-18 Peter recalled the event.
We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.
When Peter said this he was obviously talking about the 2nd Coming. This means the Lord’s transfiguration was the fulfillment of Matt. 16:29. Now this doesn’t mean the 2nd Coming has already taken place as some Preterists would have us believe. It just means that during their lifetimes the three disciples were eyewitnesses to the fact that it will.

In all things and in everything, it is good to praise God at all time....friends, have you ever tried praises in prayer without asking God anything? just praise for like 1 hour, 3 times a day? hmmmm please try this, focus on the praise alone, don't ask for anything, forget about any issues bothering you be it sickness, or any issues. Praise in tongues, sing unto the Lord....believe me God will rise up and will be higly magnified....and all other things you might be looking for will be added, granted, blessed, healed and be prosperous. Because, as you praise God, those enemies will retreat. The Bible says He inhabits the praises of His people (Psalms 22:3).
