I am specifically interested in responses from singles above 45; the kind of challenges they put up with, how they feel as they push on with the journey of salvation. I would rather engage in deeper discussions on the topic at a discrete space than here
Today I madean alter call to one of my friends I met in Lusaka, Zambia in May this year. He has not yet respondedand i need you to lift him in prayer. He is called Danny

Actually I have come to beleave that such strongholds lodge in areas that i used to treasure most! The list is long: pride, lust, greed, laziness, gossip, worship of other things other than the Lord Jesus Christ etc..It takes total surrender to commit all "treasures" that our mortal bodies used to pride in while we were still lost in darkness. These could be habits, cravings, deep seated negative cultural practices that are deemed right by world standards yet not the TRUTH! It is about cleavage from the comforts of tangible life;and wading into the unseen world of faith. That is the cost of salvation. It is actually what we keep hearing "carrying one's cross daily" Thank God the grace prevails to lift us to levels of authority to overcome such strongholds. Lets call for the guidance of the spirit daily less

Eyewitnesses To The 2nd Coming
Q. Please could you spare a moment to tell me how you interpret Christ’s statement in Matthew 16:28? He says there were “those present who would not taste death until they saw the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.” Some say it is evidence of Christ’s humanity – since He said that He didn’t know the time of His return. Others have said He was referring to the com ing of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. What is your interpretation?
A. Six days after Jesus said this, He took Peter, James and John to the top of a nearby mountain and was transfigured before them. Moses and Elijah were there and the voice of God spoke to them all (Matt. 17:1-8).
In 2 Peter 1:16-18 Peter recalled the event.
We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain.
When Peter said this he was obviously talking about the 2nd Coming. This means the Lord’s transfiguration was the fulfillment of Matt. 16:29. Now this doesn’t mean the 2nd Coming has already taken place as some Preterists would have us believe. It just means that during their lifetimes the three disciples were eyewitnesses to the fact that it will.

Greatest man in history, named Jesus, had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.
Friend accept Jesus as your personal Lord and savior today and be saved!!!!
God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us,
so that in Him we might become the
righteousness of God.
